Cynthia Wallac was a clerical worker 13 years ago at the New York Telephone Company when her son Jonathan was born with visual and speech impairments. She left the workforce to care for him, and it was only recently, when she found a special-education program that met his needs, that she felt ready to return.
Enter Nacy Lublin and Dress for Success. Wallac, 35, who felt she'd lost some of her work confidence, needed something to wear her first job interview in years. She was referred to Lublin's tiny church-basement headquarters.

So Wallace wore the sit again, and this time she was hired. \"I walked out of Steinent's office and went, 'Whew, I did it. I did the interview.' And the suit just gave me confidence.
